Hi Glenys,
I only deal with Burials in the Barnsley Borough, look on Google for Rotherham Crematorium, get their email address and ask to search their burial records, it should give the parents on the death certificate or Register entry.
Good Luck
Peter
John KAY & his wife Diana (Dinah) nee WALKER lived at Elsecar when their son Ezra was bapt. 14 Dec 1817 at Wentworth. Here is what I know:
WATH UPON DEARNE:
The Marriage Registers for Wath upon Dearne, 1810-1819
30 12 1816 John KAY Wath Upon Dearne Dinah WALKER
WENTWORTH:
The Baptism Registers for Wentworth, 1815-1819
14 12 1817 Ezra KAYE John Diana Elsecar Son Miner
WENTWORTH:
The Burial Registers for Wentworth, 1830-1839
18 01 1834 Dinah KAY 46 Elsecar
I am attempting to find the birth and parentage of John KAY (who could have been born c1786, according to the 1851 census, in Eccesfield, if indeed that is the correct John KAY of my search).
Sure would welcome any help re the above.

As before, this is for Burial Information, NOT for any other comments, Thank You
I've used your site a number of times with great success.
I also find your charges extremely customer friendly...thankyou.
But I would really appreciate the possibility to pay by paypal for these small amounts..other users too I'm sure.
I know it can incur you (Dearne memorial Group)charges but i would be happy to pay 4 pounds instead of 3.50 if I could choose this option. Please consider !
Otherwise congratulations and well done on all the work put into this site. Thanykou
Hi Peter,
You can pay any amount over the £3.50 there is a donations page as well, Don't forget I have Stillborn Records for Ardsley, Barnsley and Monk Bretton Cemeteries, there is no charge for a search.
Thank you for your kind comments
Peter
Thank you for your website. It has made it very easy for me to find the information I needed and at a very reasonable price.
Hi Peter
Trying to find the spot on the website to change my email address.
Although the information on your website is available for a relatively low price I don't see the reason why the tokens expire after such a short period of just a week.
Also, as other guestbook comments show, paying by Paypal would be a great advantage even at a higher price.
A year later , I check back and see the tokens are now valid for a six month period ! (see post above) Well done on that!
But still no possibility to pay with paypal? That's a shame. It's is possible to offer paypal at a higher cost IN ADDITION to a lower payment directly with credit card.
You could/should make this option available, I am sure it would boost the amount of users.
Let the punters choose!
What a great help your site has been in my research of my family tree for names/dates and addresses.
I have nearly used my tokens but will be buying more, and the price is very good.
Thanks for a great site.
Thank you so much for your help today Peter about the baby graves you went above and beyond for me cant thank you enough. The tokens are a great way of tracking down and the price is amazing and very easy to buy. I must say thank you again as you must put a lot of your free time into this site with all the information that is available on it will defiantly use again. cheers xxx
I have been using this site for a few months and was under the impression it was council-run; it is so well done, so comprehensive and useful - and most of all incredible value. Having just read all the guest comments, may I say thank you Peter for all your hard work, compassion and dedication.
I placed a request for information on Sarah Mangham as a new topic - I now see I should probably have posted it here. Sorry for any confusion caused.
I have requested and received burial plot maps from Barnsley Bereavement Services for Penistone Cemetery and though some of the sections are quite simple, others - sections 1 and 6 especially are quite confusing. I wonder if there are any explanatory notes anywhere for the cemetery that could help.
Thanks again,
Alan Sutton
