Hi Val,

The Foetal Register started in 1991 these are premature baby deaths that were sent to the Crematorium, Due to changes in the law, All deaths must be registered at any age, phone 01226 206503 I don't think it is open to Public View.

Hello,
My friend would like to trace a stillborn sibling who died between 1952 and 1966, and who was possibly buried at Wombwell. The surname was Hudson, the mother's maiden name was Illingworth.
I would be grateful for any help.

Hi Pip,

I only have the Stillborn for Barnsley Area, but if you google Nottingham Crematorium, get their number and give them a call, most of the Crematoriums hold the Burial Registers of all the Cemeteries in the Nottingham area. Good Luck

Hi Peter, would you have anything in Barnsley area for a male infant born 09.06.1960 name of Nugent? I'm told he was stillborn. He's my twin. Born in Athersley South. I can find no records for anything. Many thanks.

Hi Liz,
There are 4 NUGENT burials in the Barnsley Area, I have looked in some of the Church Yard Indexes as well, but there are No Stillborn by the name of Nugent.

I have emailed you as well

Peter

Please could you search for a still birth?

My grandmother always said that she was a twin but the other one died. I have looked everywhere else, and now am considering this option. Date would be 20th January 1900 at 62 Keir Street, Barnsley. Parents were John Thomas STEELE and Minnie Florence STEELE Nee Nunn. Thanks
